ESIA re-launches as Westwood Global Energy Group in a bid to take significant share of energy research market

(Aberdeen, UK) – 16 March 2017 – ESIA (Energy Software Intelligence Analytics Ltd), the private equity-backed group of energy research, analysis and consulting companies, today announces a new name and new structure as Westwood Global Energy Group.
The new brand unifies the activities of five respected companies under a single brand – namely Hannon Westwood, Novas Consulting, Richmond Energy Partners, Douglas Westwood and JSI Services.
Through independent research and deep industry expertise, the combined group offers research, analysis and consultancy for the global oil and gas industry with a focus on Market Intelligence and E&A benchmarking and insight. It helps clients make informed commercial and strategic decisions through a combination of proprietary databases, analysis and insight.
The combined group has more than 600 clients across the globe, including the world’s top 10 Oil & Gas companies, the top-10 Oilfield Services Companies, the top-10 Investment Banks and the top-10 Private Equity Firms.
Following an integration process, the group’s businesses are now organised into two new divisions – Westwood Research and Westwood Consulting. Keith Myers, previously CEO of Richmond Energy Partners, will head up Westwood Research while Andrew Reid, previously CEO of Douglas Westwood, will lead Westwood Consulting. Both report into Gavin Prise, Chairman.
