Matt Loffman, Houston manager at industry consultancy firm Douglas-Westwood, agreed with Molla on Egypt’s potential, saying: “There are a lot more discoveries, there is a lot more action going on – despite Zohr being so superb, there are other things as well.”

The recently released World Floating Production Market Forecast 2016-2020 was one of a number of reports to feature in the news this week:
“DW’s World Floating Production Report has forecast that capex for FPS units will total US$58bn over 2016–2020, with DW stating it is substantially lower than what was expected last year in the wake of “plummeting oil prices over the second half of the year”.
