“Nearly 150 oil platforms in the UK North Sea are expected to be scrapped over the next 10 years, according to industry analysts.”

“Mobile offshore drilling unit day rates will likely continue to fall into 2017, according to a report by Douglas-Westwood, as more rigs come off long-term contracts.”
